4/22 - Wacky Science: Earth Day

Come celebrate Earth Day at the library! We will learn how to garden by planting native Texas plants in the library's garden. Then we will be making seed starters in biodegradable egg carton pots that you can plant in your garden at home!

Wacky Science is every Wednesday at 5:00pm. The program is intended for ages 7+. Younger children may attend if assisted by an adult.

4/8 Wacky Science : Paper Airplanes

How do airplanes fly? Through our experiements with paper airplane contstruction in this week's Wacky Science, we will learn all about flight and Bernoulli's Principle. Then we will take our planes out for a test flight!

Wacky Science is every Wednesday at 5pm. The program content is intended for children ages 7 and up. Younger children may attend, but must be assisted by an adult.

4/10 Storytime : Spring!


Spring is here! This storytime will celebrate spring through stories and songs about flowers blooming and the weather changing. For a craft, we will make handprint lilies.


Storytime Schedule:

0-18 mos: Baby Bookworms - Mon & Fri at 10:00am
12-24 mos: Monkey in the Middle - Mon 10:45am
18-36 mos: Toddler Story Time - Fri 10:45am
3-5 yrs: Preschool Story Time - Fri 11:30am

4/1 - Wacky Science : Mentos & Cola Geyser!

Get ready for an explosion! Today in Wacky Science we will combine mentos and different types of sodas to make soda geysers! We will explore the science of soda and discover why this reaction takes place. This activity will take place outside, and it will definitely be messy! Smocks are provided.
